Candy Movie
Heath Ledger's bohemian-lifestyle poet craves for two kinds of candies. Firstly, a free-spirited girl called Candy (Abbie Cornish), an art student, and, secondly, a heroin. Their passionate relationship bounces between flashes of ecstatic passion and periods of despair and self-destruction. As they were addicted to heroin as to one another, their love included three components - a boy, a girl, and a drug. Candy's addiction gradually changed her, leading to insanity when her actress' career got crashed. Heroin addiction not only brings guaranteed pleasure, but also unavoidably shatters the lives of the pair as their love bends to the devastating pressure of vice. Movie reminds that the way of heroin is the road to nowhere. Can anything help? What can be an exit? Also starring in this drama is Geoffrey Rush, as a chemistry professor Casper.
