In medieval England, Bowen (Dennis Quaid), a young knight-dragonslayer dedicated to the long lost code of honor, befriends Draco, the last dragon on Earth, who, above having a wise and noble soul, can talk. The Queen's son Einon (David Thewlis), whom Bowen had been teaching swordsmanship and morality, has grown to become a tyrannical king. Now Bowen and Draco both betrayed by the Einon in the past, feel it's time to defeat the evil ruler. The mission, however, is hard and controversial, for years ago Draco chose to give a half of his heart to young Einon as it was the only way to save his life. Thus, if Einon dies, so does Draco...
