The movie tells the inspiring story of Brooklyn teenage boxer Izzy Daniels (Corbin Bleu) who devotes most of his time to perfecting his skills in the gym because his father Kennith (David Reivers), a golden-glove champion, wants the boy to follow in his footsteps.
