Purple Rain Movie
This semi-autobiographical movie tells a compelling story of survival and triumph of the "The Kid" (Prince), a young black man with a great talent for music. He struggles to cope with his solitude and his father's (Clarence Williams III) abusive behavior. He finds consolation in the ardent love for the lovely Apollonia Kotero and his music which he writes and performs at a local nightclub.
