The Guns of Navarone
During World War II, an Allied commando team, led by Major Roy Franklin (Anthony Quayle), is assigned the perilous mission of sailing to the Greek Island of Navarone in the Aegean Sea. They must team up with local resistance workers to destroy two massive German guns that threaten Allied naval ships, and prevent the evacuation of 2,000 endangered British soldiers from the Island of Kheros.
